Terms and conditions of trade

Australian Customers

Small volume orders will be sent by Australia Post regular or Express Post satchel.

Larger volume orders will be sent via registered Australia Post or Courier, whichever is cheaper.

All freight will be charged at cost, plus a nominal $1.50 administration fee.

New Zealand Customers

Small volume orders will be sent by New Zealand Post Mail and will incur actual postage costs plus a nominal $1.50 handling fee per order.

Larger volume orders will be distributed from our printers in Wellington NZ. Postage and handling costs for these larger volume orders will be added to the order at the time of dispatch.

Goods dispatched within Australia or within New Zealand will not be insured, unless otherwise notified. Insurance for overseas freight will be quoted prior to shipping.

In Australia, all our prices listed are exclusive of GST. A 10 per cent Goods and Services Tax will be added to the total invoice amount.

In New Zealand, all our prices listed are exclusive of GST. A 12.5 per cent Goods and Services Tax will be added to the total invoice amount.

The prices shown on our website and brochure are current at the time of publication. However they may be subject to change without notice.

Accounts for schools and other account customers are entitled to 21-day trading terms.

Bindaree Publishing reserves the right to alter book prices and specifications, and the terms of trade above without notice.

Non-Invoiced Customers

  • Bindaree Publishing operates under a ‘No Returns’ policy
  • However, misbound or faulty goods will be fully refunded if goods are returned with proof of purchase and within 14 days of delivery (Return of goods at customer’s own cost)
  • Refund will be issued in the manner in which payment was received.

Invoiced Customers

  • All goods being returned by schools to Bindaree Publishing or its NZ distributor are to be at the customer’s expense.
  • Return of misbound or faulty goods will be fully refunded if returned with proof of purchase within 30 days of delivery to school.
  • As our products are printed to order, we unfortunately are unable to accept returns other than damaged or misbound stock.
  • Refund will be issued in the manner in which payment was received.
  • No refunds will be provided where products have incurred physical damage after delivery, or where the customer wishes to return unwanted stock.

Responsibility for Stock

  • The customer will be responsible for all stock once delivery has been accepted.
  • The customer will not attempt to lodge any claims against Wilson Land Management Services Pty Ltd Trading as Bindaree Publishing for any lost or stolen stock after delivery of the stock has been accepted.
  • Any disputes with stock deliveries must be reported immediately to Bindaree Publishing.

All schools, other learning institutions and educational suppliers will be treated as account customers and invoiced on 21-day terms. Please ensure you include the purchase order number and the name and phone number of the person with purchasing authority on your order form. The invoice will be dispatched separately to the billing address nominated on the completed order form.

All other non-account customers will have their order dispatched once payment has been received.

Bindaree Publishing accepts the following forms of payment:

Cheque or Money Order

This option lets you pay by cheque or money order, payable to Bindaree Publishing.

For New Zealand customers paying by a New Zealand issued cheque, we regret that all orders under $NZ 200.00 will incur an $NZ 11.00 bank-processing fee, which will appear on your invoice. This fee will be waived for all orders over $NZ 200.00.

Electronic Funds Transfer

All Australian and New Zealand customers are able to pay on-line using electronic funds transfer to deposit their payment direct to our bank account. Payment details will appear either on your invoice or the confirmation email message sent to individual customers.

Credit card and EFTPOS

At this time, we regret we do not accept payments by credit cards or EFTPOS.

Terms of payment are strictly 21 days from the invoice date. The customer will receive an invoice shortly after delivery of the products and must pay Bindaree Publishing within 21 days of the invoice date. Where all, or part of, an invoice is still outstanding 30 days after the invoice due date, an additional 3 per cent of the outstanding balance will be charged and again after each month thereafter. Where payments are still outstanding 90 days after the invoice due date, Wilson Land Management Services Pty Ltd trading as Bindaree Publishing will implement formal steps to recover the outstanding debts. Where such debt recovery steps are implemented, the customer will incur the full costs associated with this action including, but not restricted to, legal fees, commissions from debt recovery agents, and other charges to cover the reasonable expenses incurred while enforcing this agreement. The customer will also be liable for covering all their own costs resulting from any debt recovery action initiated by Wilson Land Management Services Pty Ltd trading as Bindaree Publishing.

Wilson Land Management Services Pty Ltd trading as Bindaree Publishing also retains full title to the products delivered to its customers up to the point in time that the invoiced amount (including GST and postage costs) is paid in full by the customer.

Disputed invoices

Where there is a disputed amount on an invoice supplied by Bindaree Publishing, the customer must pay all undisputed amounts and advise Bindaree Publishing, in writing, of any disputed amounts within 14 days of the invoice date.

Purchasing Options

  • Browse through our website until you find the product or products that meets your needs.
  • Select the most appropriate order form type and download it.
  • Australian School, College, University or TAFE
  • Australian individual
  • You can then print out this order form, complete all of the sections, and then either post or fax us the completed form. It’s that easy!

  • While we prefer customers to order our products by posting or faxing us a completed order form, customers may also order our product just by sending us an email (see ourĀ Contact Us page):
  • Don’t forget to include your name, purchase order number, contact telephone number, and postal address.

eBooks

Once your order is complete, you will be sent an email with a link to download your eBook.

Your eBook is protected with DRM (digital rights management) through Adobe Content Server.

Your eBook will be linked to your Adobe ID and you will need either the free Adobe Digital Editions app on your desktop computer or one of the many free Adobe DRM compatible eBook reader apps on your mobile or tablet.
